Heather was born and raised in Carman, Manitoba, just outside of Winnipeg. After spending her early years on the family farm, she went on to earn her Associate Degree in Nursing from the Misericordia School of Nursing. Over the next 35 years, her nursing career took her across many U.S. states and two countries. She worked in the ICU, assisted with open-heart surgeries, and eventually found her calling in hospice care.
Heather met her husband, Scott, in Casper, Wyoming, and they’ve been married for over 30 years. In 2014, they moved to Las Vegas, Nevada, with their rescue pups and have called it home ever since.
Now retired from nursing, Heather is ready to slow things down. She’s looking for a better balance between home and work, a chance to remain connected with people, and an opportunity to be part of a supportive team. That search has led her to Apollo Strategic Advisors, where she’s excited to begin a new chapter.
